The South Dakota State track and field teams were picked for third- (men) and fourth-place (women) finishes at the 2014 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Twenty-two South Dakota State track and field student-athletes were named to The Summit League's Indoor Track and Field All-League Teams Monday.

The South Dakota State women's track and field team posted solid results on the final day of the 2013-14 Summit League Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Shelby Assmus finished third overall in the weight throw event. She recorded a distance of 55 feet, 11 3/4 inches.
